Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website at motrade.app, the Showroom ERP dashboard, and all related services (together, the "Platform"), operated by Motrade Technologies ("Motrade", "we", "us"). By creating an account, browsing listings, posting a demand, listing a car for sale, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time (see Section 15). Continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Motrade is a car marketplace platform serving Pakistan, made up of three connected parts:

• CarHub Marketplace — a public listing of vehicles published by verified dealers and showrooms, which you can search, filter, save, and contact dealers about.
• Demand Board — lets you post the car you’re looking for (make, model, budget, city) so matching dealers can respond with an offer.
• Sell My Car — lets you list your own car’s details and photos so verified dealers can send you indicative cash offers, negotiate, schedule an inspection, and (if you accept) close a sale.
• Showroom ERP — a separate paid dashboard product for dealers/showrooms to manage their own inventory, sales, and staff, which in turn powers their CarHub listings and Demand Board / Sell My Car responses.

Motrade is a platform, not a dealer, broker, financier, or party to any vehicle sale. We connect buyers and sellers; the actual negotiation, inspection, payment, and transfer of ownership happens directly between the buyer and the dealer/seller, off-platform, under their own agreement.

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a vehicle purchase or sale to create an account or transact through the Platform.
• You must provide accurate, current information when signing up (full name, email, phone) and keep it up to date via Account Settings.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us immediately at support@motrade.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or are used for fraud, harassment, or abuse (see Section 9).

• Only verified showrooms/dealers using Showroom ERP can publish listings — this is what lets us keep the marketplace dealer-verified rather than open to anonymous individual sellers.
• Listing details (price, mileage, condition, photos, availability) are supplied by the dealer. Motrade does not inspect vehicles, verify listing accuracy, or guarantee that a listed vehicle is available, as described, or free of defects, liens, or disputes.
• Always verify the vehicle’s condition, ownership documents, and registration in person before paying anything or completing a purchase. Motrade is not responsible for the outcome of a transaction between you and a dealer.
• Contacting a dealer via WhatsApp, phone, or the in-Platform chat is a direct conversation between you and that dealer; messages sent through WhatsApp are additionally subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy practices.

• Posting a demand shares your requirement (make, model, budget, city, and any notes you add) with dealers whose inventory may match it. It does not obligate any dealer to respond, and it does not obligate you to buy from any dealer who does.
• Demand postings and any responses are visible to you and to the responding dealer(s); we do not sell this information to unrelated third parties (see our Privacy Policy).
• Posting a demand is free for buyers.

• When you list your car for sale, you confirm that the information and photos you provide are accurate and that you are the legal owner (or have authority to sell it) and it is free of any undisclosed lien, dispute, or legal restriction you are aware of.
• Offers made by dealers through this feature are indicative based on the details and photos you provided — they are not final until a dealer physically inspects the vehicle and you both agree on a final price. Shortlisting or provisionally accepting an offer does not create a binding sale.
• Motrade facilitates the listing, offer, and negotiation-chat process only. The eventual sale — including price, payment, and transfer of ownership/registration — is a private agreement between you and the dealer, and Motrade is not a party to it, does not hold or transfer funds, and is not responsible for a dealer failing to honor a price or for a payment dispute after the fact.
• You can withdraw an active listing at any time from your account, before a deal is completed.

• Showroom ERP is a separate subscription product for dealers/showrooms — pricing and plan details are on our Pricing page and are agreed to separately when a dealer subscribes.
• Dealers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their own listings, offers, and responses, for holding any licenses their business requires, and for complying with applicable consumer-protection and vehicle-sale laws in Pakistan.
• Motrade may remove a listing, offer, or account that appears fraudulent, misleading, or in breach of these Terms.

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information about yourself, a vehicle, or a transaction;
• Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation with a dealer;
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract listings or user data from the Platform;
• Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or spam another user or dealer;
• Upload content you don’t have the rights to, or that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing;
• Attempt to bypass our security, rate limits, or bot protections (including reCAPTCHA); or
• Use automated means to create accounts, post demands, or generate leads at scale.

We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, and/or report unlawful activity to authorities where required.

You keep ownership of what you submit (car photos, descriptions, demand details, messages, reviews). By submitting it, you grant Motrade a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service (e.g., showing your Sell My Car listing’s photos to dealers, or your review on a dealer’s profile).

The Motrade name, logo, and the Platform’s design, code, and branding are owned by Motrade Technologies and may not be copied or used without permission.

Browsing CarHub, posting a demand, and listing a car under Sell My Car are free for buyers. Showroom ERP is a paid subscription for dealers, billed under the plan they choose — see Pricing. We may introduce fees for new buyer-side features in the future; if we do, we’ll clearly disclose them before you’re charged.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Motrade disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Platform, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any listing, offer, dealer, or buyer information is accurate or complete. Motrade does not guarantee any particular outcome from using CarHub, Demand Board, or Sell My Car — including that you will find a car, receive an offer, or complete a sale.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Motrade Technologies and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from a transaction, dispute, or interaction between you and another user or dealer — including a vehicle’s condition, a dealer’s conduct, or a payment made outside the Platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Pakistani law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Motrade Technologies harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of the Platform, or content you submit.

You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Platform and its users — where reasonably possible, we’ll tell you why.

We may revise these Terms as the Platform evolves. We’ll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we’ll make reasonable efforts to notify registered users (e.g., by email or an in-Platform notice) before they take effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
