An offer's journey
| Offer status | What you can do |
|---|---|
| New offer | Read the amount and message, Shortlist it, Decline it or chat with the dealer. |
| Shortlisted | Keep it on your shortlist while you compare. The dealer can request an inspection. |
| Inspection requested | The dealer wants to inspect your car within a number of days. Accept or Decline Inspection. |
| Inspection scheduled | The inspection is booked. Waiting for the dealer's final price. |
| Final price offered | The dealer's price after inspection. Accept Final Price to close the sale, or decline. |
| Completed | You accepted — the deal is recorded and you can leave a verified review. |
Tips for the best price
- Wait for a few offers before you shortlist — they often arrive over the first day or two.
- Reply quickly in chat. Dealers prioritise sellers who respond.
- Mention service records and new tyres or batteries — they add value.
- Compare with car prices to know a fair range.
Withdraw your listing
Sold elsewhere or changed your mind? Choose Withdraw on your car's page. Dealers will no longer be able to make offers. Listings that stay inactive for a long time may also expire.
