Used Car Buying Checklist
A practical checklist for buying a used car in Pakistan: documents, transfer, accident history, engine, body and test drive — plus how Motrade inspections help.

Documents and transfer
- Original registration book or smart card, and that it matches the chassis and engine numbers.
- Token tax paid up to date, and the registration city.
- Number of previous owners, and whether transfer papers (open letter or biometric) are ready.
Condition
- Paint — look for repainted or shower-painted panels and uneven gaps.
- Accident signs — chassis, pillars, boot floor and radiator support.
- Engine — cold start, smoke, noises, leaks and oil condition.
- Suspension, brakes, AC and all electrics.
- A test drive on a road where you can reach normal speed.
