Create Listings That Sell
How dealers add, edit and publish cars on Motrade Marketplace, and how photos, price and details affect where a listing ranks.
Updated 29 September 2026
What helps a listing rank
- Photos — more clear photos rank higher. Aim for at least 7, with a strong front three-quarter main photo.
- Complete details — variant, mileage, registration city, assembly, features and documents or transfer status.
- A realistic price in line with the market for that make, model and year.
- Fast replies — responding quickly to buyers builds your reputation.
- Fresh stock — mark sold cars as sold so buyers only see what's available.
Listing labels
- Brand New — a new, unregistered car. You can list the colours you can supply.
- Financing — you offer the car on finance or installments.
- Negotiable and Available Now help buyers who filter for them.
Reserved and sold
While a deal's inspection window is active, the car shows as Reserved on the Marketplace. When the deal is confirmed, it's marked sold automatically.
